I've owned two rugers, one was the old version in a .243. It was very accurate but the trigger sucked. Also, my clip malfunctioned at a bad time and I got rid of the gun. I bought a Mark II stainless in a 7mm rem mag and it wouldn't hit the barn when I first got it. After putting on a hogue pillar bedded stock, timney trigger, and reloading my own shells, it shoots great but it's a little heavy with that stock. I'll not buy another ruger, probably not anyway.
