Default Savage Model 111 in a .204 Ruger

Hey all, just found a good deal on a Savage Model 11/111 FNS Hunter in .204 Ruger w/Accue Trigger for $299.00. I think it's a smoking deal. My only concern is the caliber. Does anyone have any experience with this .204 caliber. I went to a couple of shops and got mixed feelings about this round, the ones that didn't like never shot it before and the ones that like it love the caliber and the gun! I seriously thinking about picking it up for Coyote hunting, I'll top it off with a Nikon ProStaff scope.

Any thoughts good or bad would be helpful!

Thanks

Joe b!

I've never delt with the Savage 11, but I do have two 204 rugers. One Ruger M77 and a remington XR-100. Both shootexcellent. I haven't got any coyote's yet, but after seeing what it does to squirrels I'd go for it.

Well I told the guy to hold the gun until tonight for me, no need anymore, I just got back from picking it up! I have read nothing but good things about the Savage and the .204 Ruger!

My only problem is the Laser Bore sight I have, won't fit the .204 Ruger!
