Gunsmith Builds Custom Rifles for Shooters with Custom Needs
In a highly specialized and exacting field, gunsmith Randy Selby offers precision craftsmanship for shooters with custom needs, including those with disabilities.
Cody, WY (PRWEB) October 19, 2005 -- In a highly specialized and exacting field, gunsmith Randy Selby offers precision craftsmanship for shooters with custom needs, including those with disabilities. His exceptional qualifications include a hands-on apprenticeship with internationally known Les Bowman. Randy's experience comes not only from this historic expert, but from the many thousands of hours of personal experience and excellent training from other well known experts in the field at T.S. J.C. in the department founded by P.O. Ackley. His lifetime skill in hunting and a BS in gunsmithing has given him the dual advantage of formal training as well as hands-on experience as a gunsmith and tool and die maker machinist for 35 years.
As one of the few custom rifle builders in the country, Randy Selby fills the void often experienced by people with more custom needs. With painstaking custom design and precision building, each rifle is tailored to each individual’s special requirements thus producing a piece of equipment that is far more accurate than a store-bought rifle. Practicing what he preaches, he tests each one of his designs personally and has been on hunting expeditions where he has taken or witnessed his custom rifles bring down big game with one shot.
Randy has been called the "best kept secret in the west," and has custom designed as many as 20 rifles for one customer. They just keep coming back again and again for his rifles. Mike Feagans of Sarasota, Florida calls him the "rifle doctor." Mike Feagans said, “So if you want the best rifle money can buy you need to talk with Randy Selby. I call him the rifle doctor."
Customers have marveled at the sleek streamlined beauty of Randy’s gun designs. Harry B. Browning said, “Randy started building rifles for me in 1989. Randy has re-barreled and re-chambered at least 6 rifles for me, in addition to the above. I truly enjoy using rifles he has created for me. I feel confident that you would be happy with his work and enjoy the beauty of his gun work just as I have.”
