Just an introduction:

T_in_PA2 here. Located in Pennsylvania. 15 or so years of bowhunting. You have probably seen some of the game camera pictures I have posted here.

Checking In, Hello Team Members I'm looking forward to a Phenomenal Season. I never had good enough reasons to post any harvest until now so let this contest bring the best of my 32 years of hunting forth.

hi guys this should be fun i'm in south eastern michigan and hunt in northern michigan on a freinds 80 acres surrounded by private farm land no hunting pressure i 'm hoping for a monster problem is he is on a differnt team so i sence the out house blind this year the one with all the crap LOL !!

How about "The Unknowns" for a team name. Seems that's what we are compared to some of these other posters. :D Might be able to fly under the radar and do some damage.

Hello guys, I live in Northwest Missouri and have quite a few places to hunt especially by the Iowa border. I'm 24 and have been bowhunting since I was 16 yrs old. We have est. lots of food plots and I can take a buck before gun and after gun season. So I hope I can help. Our season starts Sept. 15. Can't wait.

ok team this for the fun of it is becoming a tad bit mellow dramatic now silent has with drawn from his team because he got teamed with people that are or at least have not replyed yet. To be honest i signed up as i thought it would be a fun lil contest. I have yet to arrow a deer ever.
I 'm no master hunter and i don't lurk on these boards 24 /7 . So if this team is gonna be we gotta win not just have fun outdoors and enjoy the competiton for the heck of it .I to may or at the rest of the teams request withdraw.
Sorry for the long winded whine i just thought this would be fun and neat way to meet new freinds in a freindly no harm no foul competiton this could be my year to bag a monster or i could go another year skunked or with only a baldy(doe) to show for my hunting season does are easy!

Sounds good to me.... I think. Hard to read your post with out an periods to end sentences. I'm in it for the fun of it. Not looking to get anything out of it. Been a few years since I took a nice archery buck anyhow so don't rely on me. lol

Hello everyone as a member of team 17, I hope to do my part in our winning of this contest. I live in Florida but own a 40 acre parcel in Pike County Ill. I do not hunt in Fla. but I do hunt in Ill. and Pa. I am looking forward to a great a great bow season.

hey guys on the top of the contest page is a poll for checking in. team members if you have not yet checked in voted on teh poll please do so. let's stand up and be counted i see only 2 people on the team that have not yet checked in, Bowhuntr80 and ahunter55 but the poll shows only 3 or 4 checked in .

I checked in the other day.

So what kind of toys do you guys have? ie bows, treestands etc.

I have been shooting a Hoyt Havoc for the past couple of years. I also shoot a Bear recurve. For treestands my primary one is a Lone Wolf climber. I also use a couple hang on stands.

Checking cameras today and putting a couple more out. Maybe I'll have some pics for you later today.

T-IN-PA2 ISHOOT A GOLDEN EAGLE PREADATOR 1996MODEL, TREE STANDS LOGGY CLIMER,3FIX STANDS(2 OF THEM A FRIEND MADE FOR ME) IAM THINKING A NEW HOYT NEXT YEAR IF EVERTHING GOES ALRIGHT HERE.THERE JUST SO EXPENSIVE. I HAVE 1 MORE STAND TO PUT UP SUNDAY.HOPPFULLY WE ALL WILL HAVE A GOOD SEASON THIS YEAR ONLY SEEN 2 GOOD SIZE DEER THIS YEAR OUT OF 2 OF THE3 AREAS I HUNT, HOPPFULLY ONE WILL MAKE A MISTAKE BE IN FRONT OF ME OPENING DAY AT FIRSTLIGHT.

hello I just moved from missouri back home to michigan. originally from michigan spent a few years in florida lots of fishing . so i 'm hopeing my first year back HOME!! is a good one . i shoot an old faithful alpine rebel it's so old i have an overdraw . I have my eye on a new bowtech mighty mite and new carbons whole new set up actully looking at a HHA optimizer 5500 sight
Ripcord rest or a QAD similar to the ripcord concidered a drop zone( but heard they are noisey)

just got my old bow tuned up and rdy with aloop and new true fire h.o.t. release
but i hope by october 1st (season opener)to have the bowtech and rdy to go

Toysssss? Um.. ok ok since this is a Bow forum I'll make every attempt to keep it bow only..lmao

Well in June I got tired of shooting old betsy (Moutaineer Aggressor) and sought out for a change, then I got me a Fred Bear (Jennings) Pro Master man am I loving this bow. I looked at the Outback and said If I can't buy it wholesale I'll wait it out..lol I'm a wholeseller. Funny thing is the shop I go to often for gear is a hoyt dealer they've been attempting to oufit me for years.

Tree Stand Summit Viper also new for this season, DogHouse ground blind and my first climber hm.. geee it's been so long I can't remember it's name..lol

Well im getting Mathews soon. I "overdrawed" my old bow. Apparently I outgrew it so I was drawing past the wall.

Yeah,

The weather may not break for a while especially here in Va., the mornings are great thought mild, normally after 10 a.m. call it quits! I'm just hoping it stays somewhat consistant between 60-70 degree by Sept. 18 in the mornings

Just got me a brand new Hoyt Ultratec. i bought it at our local archery shop and I didn't even have to adjust my first pin until 28 yds. I'm not into the whole Hoyt and Mathews discussion but Hoyt sure has impressed me.

just a scouting report update. walked in to my stand this morning to place same apples that had fallen in the yard. jumped 2 nice bucks one wide 8 for sure and the second might have ben a 10 point looking good !!!!

ps. yea been one heck of a year for florida i lived there 9 yrs and never had a bad one i move out the next year and charles rolls thru 15 miles north of my old house /PHEW!! cape coral. so hope all in florida are well and safe !!

Finished setting up treestand this week. Put a new one up and raised the height on another one. Cleard some brush and pulled come vines around some trees I might want to use the climber on. 3 weeks for me I think? First Saturday in October. Oh... might have access to a local army depot too if I get drawn. Some nice deer there.
