I'll keep trying there is overcast and drizzle tomorrow morning so we'll see what happens. Good Luck Team 17.

Saw a nice one this am-Bucks will be getting gooofy real soon. Someone said we are down 232 points-I figure mine will score that or more-haha. Good luck fellas-let us know how ya all are doin. I am seeing small bucks daily & like at 15 yards. Missed a Doe 2 days ago-she came from I don't know where & was 20 yards going into a bean field-she was 35 yards by the time I got situated & the video is real pretty as the arrow Passes just over her back. Good luck & if your seeing anything-give us all an update.

I didn't miss this one-1 more antlerless tag left & 1 BIG BUCK tag. Have passed several small Bucks but have not seen any of the Big Boys yet-getting a little worried (not really)-lots of standing corn and other Bowhunters in area I hunt.
25 yard shot-watched her drop 25 yards from the hit. Double lung with a Rocky Mountain 3 Blade Ironhead. She has gone to a needy family-don't have weight from locker yet-but she is a big Doe. Good Luck to all.

Nice doe hunter!!

Archery ended Saturday here. Bear comes in Monday for a few days. Archery will be back in after Christmas along with flintlock season. I'll be carrying the flinter then. ;)

I have pictures of some nice bucks. A lot of corn still standing so hopefully it will protect them from gun season and they will be around next year.

Don't give up on bagging that buck just yet-just when you think it's not going well a Buck Shows up-PLUS, the last couple weeks of any late season seems to be good for Bucks also. Just hang in there team. I have only been seeing small bucks which is real unusual for me-I usually have a couple good bucks being seen on a regular basis by now-the Does I am seeing are alone also. I guess we will never figure them out-just keep hunting. Good luck & keep us posted.

Well guys, he's not a monster, but he is my addition to the team score. Not much of an exciting story to tell. I shot this Jersey 8-pointer about an hour after first light. He was on a steady walk and as he passed the stand at 12 yards quartering away, I took the shot. It was a perfect hit and the buck only went 40 yards before crashing down. I scored him at 89 and 7/8. Not my biggest, but with time winding down, he is a good way to finish out my bow season.

I can't seem to get a picture of him to post. Every time I try I get an error message, says something like the page I'm trying to access cannot be displayed. Any suggestions?

Well guys what a disappointing season this has been for me. Rifle season has just ended here in MO and I still haven't seen the one I want. All little bucks no granddaddies. I saw one big buck at about thirty yards the day before rifle season but didn't have a shot and he wasn't stopping for anything. But I have until Jan. to fill my tags and hopefully the big boy will come out to play. Good things will hopefully come to those who wait. That is hopefully. Good luck guys.

NJ-congrats-nice looking Deer. I had a nice one go by this am BUT only 4 points, ONE SIDE. Other horn is broke off at the base. Our gun season is coming soon (Dec 3) but I still have the late season. Will be pig hunting in Oklahoma during Iowas deer season. Hang in there fellas-I think the leaders are only averaging about a 105 so if I am LUCKY I can move us up in the standings. Got till middle of Jan. Good luck to those that can still hunt.

Okay fellas-our 1st gun season is winding down so I sat with my Binocs watching my hunting area. I have seen several NEW Deer go into my hunting area (it's Archery only) & yesterday I watched 9 Does & a nice Buck-over 200#s BUT both Antlers broke off-thru the Binocs they looked like they were 2" around the base & 1 with a 5" Brow-thats it-he must be a fighted fool. BUT-I watched a MAIN FRAME 10 (perfect rack) walk right past my Deer stand. I am guessing him over 160 & maybe 170. Soooo, we still have some time. Wish me luck & hope the weather doesn't frost bite my butt. I said I was goin for a biggie or none at all-I have passed on 9 different Bucks within 20 yards & 2 have been decent 8s. Good luck to those that have some Bowhunting left.
Merry Christmas to all & hope you are all able to share this Holy Day with FAMILY....
