I'm not really worried too much about the logo either , I'll be sitting in my stand a week from tomorrow.
Good luck tomorrow! And remember , screw all the hype about pope & young etc.. , if it's a nice buck in your eyes go ahead and take it. The most important thing is to have fun! I dont want anyone to feel embarrased to enter a buck that doesn't meet others standards.

A-men. If it is a nice buck I will be shooting if he presents me with a good shot. Our
season starts Wednesday morning. Lets all be safe out there and most of all have
FUN doing it. Hope the bug's are not bad in the evening's. Bought some no stinkin bugs
earth scent spray and hope it works. Better yet I hope it does not alert the deer.

Hey guys, just to let you know I was out scouting last night, I only saw 4 buck because 5 minutes after I got to my area my cousin's had to chop soybeans for silage thus running off everything in the field. Anyway two were scrubs but one was a nice 8 with about 18" spread and good tines. The other was a mainframe 10 with double droptines each about 6". He didn't have the best tine length but he was pretty thick. Definately a 3 1/2 year old buck or better. I can't believe, it's really that time of year again!
One other thing I was thinking about while shooting my bow, and something that I need to keep thinking about. IMO it is better to aim low and hope the deer squats into the line of the arrow than it is to aim right where you want it and hit or miss too high.

The season starts here tomorrow morning. Glad you had such a good hunt. The acorns
are dropping here and I will try to key in on that with the big white oaks here. I will
be glad to just get out there again. Looks like the hurricane is going to mess up part
of my 8 days off. Good Luck hunting everyone.

My second opener is today. I'm skipping out of work at 2:30 so I can shower and get to my stand by 4:00. If you can get out today good luck. Hopefully we'll all start to see some good bones. I'm ready for a shooter

I'm heading tomorrow afternoon (I work til 6am) for our opener!
Hopefully I get the opportunity at a nice doe so I can fill me EAB tag! My luck.... the biggest buck I've ever seen will be eating acorns under my stand before I ever see a doe.
Good luck guys!
