What happened to the job that you need to find another?

Sat is looking awesome for me. A low of 36 and a high of 66 overcast with scattered showers Just the way I like it! Keeps all the fair weather hunters clear of the woods. Should lead to an interesting opening day!

The job sucked man, real bad. I figure what the heck, might as well quit during archery season cause i know ill be out in the woods every morning and every evening, then all day later in the season. Sounds like u got some decent weather over there, im just hoping the weatherman is WRONG!! Good luck.

I just hope i can find another job though[:-]

Went out friday afternoon about 3:30. Didnt see anything and about 5:30 it started to rain so I went back up to the cabin just in time for it to quit. I was sitting on the steps drinking a beer and about 6:30 I watched 3 does walk up the hill about 80 yards out. Saturday I got out early in the morning and didnt see anything again. About 11:30 went up to the cabin for lunch and walked in the cabin and back out to watch 3 deer run down the hill. Saurday evening I didnt see a thing. Come gun season and my cabin will be my blind. I can watch hunting movies while I hunt. My clover field that was about knee high this summer is now about 2 inches high. Them deer have it mowed down. Also the mineral lick has been hit hard. I will be out again thur, fri, sat and sun. Good luck to all.

I had a great opening day. Woke up at 5 nice light drizzle was accuring. In my stand at 6 (an hour before light) about 10 min into the morning so about 7:10 a monster 12 came by at about 50 yards heading to his bedding area was intrested in breaking stride. 10 min later i hear some horns hittin one another about 3 min after that a huge non typical appeared same both i saw the 12 pointer about 50 yards away he wasnt intrested in getting off that patch neither. About 20 min a nice 120-125 class 8 pointer came 15 yards i drew back and last second discion i held off and watched him walk away. I want a crack at one of the two ohio big bucks i saw that day. Exspecially the 12, hes smaller then the non typical but i scouted him ALL summer and late season last year. Even passed him up last year as a 10. This year he grew a few points and got alot heavier on the rack. going on wednesday ill let you know how that goes. Good luck everyone and be safe.

Seasons going good. I am seeing alot of deer so far. I hunted a field edge tonight (I rarely hunt field edges) so I took the digital camera. I took a few pics of a couple small bucks and some does. All these pics were taken at around 5:10 to 5:30, 2 hours before dark.

After I snapped these the memory was full and couldn't take anymore pics for the night. I saw a couple real good ones late right at dusk. You know the old story to far out and to damn dark. They are just making it interesting for me!
