Welcome to the team Roscoe, make sure you take the bug spray if your going out this weekend. I will be at lake of the Ozarks this weekend and may do a little scouting but no real hunting for a few weeks yet, 18 days to be exact, not that I'm counting

Went out over the weekend. Saturday morning I saw three does about 100 yards out. Nothing saturday evening. Sunday morning I had a 6 point walk under my stand and he milled around for about 10 minutes until two small does came by at about 20 yards. Saw another doe about 100 yards out. About three hours after I saw the 6 point I was looking behind me and I noticed an antler. I got out my binos and lokked and it was that same 6 point bedded down,. I watched him for about and hour until he got up and walked away. Sunday evening I saw 2 does about 40 out. Boy is it good to get back out and sit in a tree. Good hunting to all.

Well season for me starts this weekend!!! Cant wait i have a real good feeling about opening day. Ive been getting pics of some very large deer by my stand. The deer are going crazy for the acorns around my stand. Ill let you guys know on saturday how the day went down.
