Cyclone
New toy and just- made arrows. GT's Lazer II, Blazers and brass, weigh 412 grns or so. Cyclone chrons about 355 fps with them and very accurate. Trigger still a bit stiff (only several days old). So far, I like it a lot.

They're stock GT nocks. They just press in, can be removed for stripping the lacquer when refletching or even turned a bit to align with the cock vane.

Yes. I paint the raw arrows after taping the back off with masking take. Then, press in the nocks, fletch and glue the inserts last. The nocks are in tight but removable. That way they can be taken off to remove the lacquer with acetone if re fleching is newcessary. As you may know, acetone melts plastic, so the nocks would have to be taped. To labor intensive.

Here's what I posted to the same question on another site:
It ain't that hard. Tape them off with masking tape, first spray white lacquer, let dry 10 minutes or so, then do the florescent overspray. Remove tape and let dry an hour or so. I use AZ fletcher. Takes me less than couple of minutes each to do the vanes. Press in the nocks, then glue in the inserts. Let dry overnight. Done. What took time was the experimentation with different techniques and glues. Some glues grab on contact (LocTite Gel) others give you a couple of seconds to get it right (Goat Tuf, Gold Tip). Lacquer is quick and don't weigh much but adds to lookin' good and tracking arrow in flight. Nicest thing is when it comes to re-fletching vanes strip off easier and the lacquer clean up with acetone. Just re-spray and do it again.[/align]
