Here's what I posted to the same question on another site:
It ain't that hard. Tape them off with masking tape, first spray white lacquer, let dry 10 minutes or so, then do the florescent overspray. Remove tape and let dry an hour or so. I use AZ fletcher. Takes me less than couple of minutes each to do the vanes. Press in the nocks, then glue in the inserts. Let dry overnight. Done. What took time was the experimentation with different techniques and glues. Some glues grab on contact (LocTite Gel) others give you a couple of seconds to get it right (Goat Tuf, Gold Tip). Lacquer is quick and don't weigh much but adds to lookin' good and tracking arrow in flight. Nicest thing is when it comes to re-fletching vanes strip off easier and the lacquer clean up with acetone. Just re-spray and do it again.[/align]
