Boy am I tired! Dang, what with all the plowing, disking, harrowing and limeing, I'm wore plumb out! Now tomorrowI'll plant corn and in a couple of weeks or so it'll be time to plant those soy beans. Is these deer worth all this work? And the cost and time! Is it really necessary? HECK YEAL! Oh, and I had a heck of a time even finding seed corn to plant. Field corn that is. There's plenty of sweet corn available but the pioneer field corn is scarce in these parts. Seemsour government is making dealers do a lot of paper work on who's buying it and for what purpose and whatnot so the dealers have said to heck with all that and don't carry it in most places. My luck! Oh well, I finally found some and was lucky to get it. Excuse the long post, I'm just tired to the core tonight. LOL

We just got our plots planted last weekend and it was tiring no doubt. But it sure is fun isnt it? It was a beautiful weekend to spend in the woods with your dad and brother. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I had a couple food plots on the land I hunted last yr. Almost 1200 acres, which I lost as the land was sold..Was nice having various stands up to hunt based on the conditions each day.
Got a small 10 acre spot now, and working on getting more land. There will be no food plots for me this yr..
Good luck on your plots guys, mine took a beating last yr for the heat and lack of rain.
