No need to say thanks, just keep asking questions and let us know you are getting better. You should have seen me last summer, I about wore some of these guys out when I went from my Horton to my first Excal! LOL!!

yeah i'm kinda getting it now, the new limbs are nice so far no pock marks on the front of them but i'm shooting a 2216 w/blazers and 125 grain point outfront, with 125 slick tricks today i almost hit them same hole at 22 yards, i might stick with that set-up i just like the aluminum shafts, they are easy to fletch and the inserts come out nice w/a little heat, anyway it still probably shoots in the ball-park 315 or so, much faster than my tenpoint and i've taken 6 deer with that with no problems at all with speed at 299 or so,speed......................

Can you change out bars on CB's to gain or lighten you CB? For instance, if you wanted less power to fish, could you put 90 lbs bars on a Vortex and/or put 225 lbs for more power?

No. The diss bars and pads are the same from one model to the next and are only for noise reduction. All the limbs are the same strength/power wise on Excals, just the length of rail diffs to go from 150# to 225# pulls. Believe they made some target limbs for them, Dnk has a set that I know of, maybe he can tell ya what poundage they are. Sounds like you need a Vixen for bow fishing, lol. 10 pt brought out a new bow fishing rig this year, haven't seen one yet, but you can bet it's a class act if it came from them.
