Took a doe and a buck using Splitfires, they both went about 60 yrds. with good blood
trails. Took a doe using a Slik Tricks, she went 30 yrds and was all bled out . Fantastic

I do plan to buy & test some Strykers, but I'm also experimenting with 125gr heads. I've been shooting 100 grains for several years, but my FOC on 2215 aluminums is close to minimum. I plan to try some 125gr field points and see how much it changes trajectory. If it isn't too severe I'll probably go to 125gr broadheads for next season.
I'm using TenPoint ProView scope on my Phoenix and right now it's dead-on at the 10 yard increments. I can use the crosshairs for 15-25-35 and the bottom "post" on the duplex crosshair for 45 yards with my setup. If the 125gr points change that too much I could switch to 2213s and the heavier broadheads and still be close to my present arrow weight.

Put a Slick Trick through my buck at 3 yards, I ended up hitting high, I blame it on the fact that I have never practiced that close.
He jumped 5-6 yards, turned and looked in my direction and collapsed.
Didn't see a blood trial, I was toobusy chasing his body down the embankment.
Once he was opened up I seen that the arrow went in severing a rib cleanly on entry, cut his spinal cord and exited just as smooth. Oddly, the back half of my arrow was still in there.
I love those broadheads!

I used to 125 gr. G5 Tekan II's to kill a 10 point at 12 yards. He ran about 35 to 40 yards and crashed hard into the ground. After opening him up, both lungs were completely mangled and there was massive hemmoraging around the chest cavity. The Tekan II cracked a rib when it exited, and traveled at least 20 yards on the past through. The broadhead is still very very sharp.

we got 3 very large hornedbucks this year ,me and my 2 brothers.
mine was with 250-3000 sav .
brothers both use 125 gr nap spitfires in theirbowsand all bucks ran for long distance,over 100 yds or more..
we had to come out sunday to find 1 of the bucks..
both were shot behind shoulder and big holes out both sides.

I took two so far this year one doe droped on the spot and one buck went 70 or so yeards used the old 3 blade Satallite head,been using them ever since they came out with them. Blood trail was fine no problems. Lee
