I gather from the info. that I have found in the x-bow forum if I want a traditional x-bow go with Excalibur and if I want a compound go with a Ten Point.over the next couple of months I will research both x-bows and maybe purchase one next spring. Thanks for the input

I bought a Barnett Quad 400 off Ebay for $250. It was brand new Factory sealed. The day I got it, I put it together. Went to my lease Friday Afternoon. took an hour and a half to site it in (do to scope problems.) Went hunting Saturday morning. shot a Doe from 20 yards, The shot was pure and the arrow went clean through. So the barnett quad 400 is more the capable of killing any animal on the continent. Just my 2 Cents
Side note:
I still plan to buy and Excal. But untill then the The barnett will work.
