Default lumenok???????

I'm helping a friend install Lumenoks to his bolts. Here is the problem. The Lumenoks only come in "flat-style". The nocks on his bolts are groved like normal nocks. Will the "flat-style" safely be released from the crossbow??? His crossbow is a Barnett. Thank you in advance to anyone that can shed some light on this.

In a word, NO! Barnetts require half moon nocks, aka moon nocks. There may be someone somewhere that is useing flat on their Bnett, but you risk a dry fire w/ flat one. there's a long winded explanation for the difference on this, but the short version is if the claw [holds the string back] flips up you can use eithet, but if it flips down into the barrel/rail you must use half moon nocks. Good luck!!
