Default Making Jerky Question

I just got my first deer back and i got sausage sirloins and chops made out of the meat and was curious as to how to make jerky out of these type cuts. I am not looking for recipes but more of how to cut it and if all i have is an oven what is the easiest way to cook it. Thanks for any help.

Default RE: Making Jerky Question

Take any of the meat that you want and thin slice with a jerky knife and board. Or a electric slicer if you have one. Then I like to use high country jerky season. Follow instructions and letset for a day or two. Then put on some screen in the oven with door open just a little and cook at 200 for an hour. I like to cut to less that a 1/4 inch or so. YUMMY!
