this morning was the bow opener here in georgia. i could have taken 2 deer. i was in my stand at 7 a.m. at 8:05 i saw 3 doe's that came in at 15 yards. then at 10:30 a.m. i had a 4 point come in at 25 yards. i'm going back out at 5:30 p.m. i know of a evening spot where 2 mature bucks are using a certain trail from their bedding area. maybe i'll get lucky we have a southeast wind that perfect for this trail. i think i'll take my rabbit's foot.

Beretta were you hunting in the rain?
<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>I was!
Seen a bunch of deer.
First batch, a nice little seven or eight point was with three does. They bedded down about 60 yards in front of me in the brush. After three hours, they finally got up after about 3 hours. And walked away, of course.
After they left, I got cought with my bow hanging on the hook, by two spikes still in velvet. When I tried to get my bow they got spooky and skerted off to the side and stood in the brush untill they took off. They never seen me but they knew I was there somewhere. They might have winded me, I dont know.
Seen five more does before the monsoon started....
