short opening morning hunt
today is bama opener archery, and my season started with a whop, just a doe but it felt good to break the ice, since i didn't get to hunt last year because of a back injury( and no i didn't fall out of my stand
), i got to see a total of nine deer, only 2 were small bucks, the rest were does and yearlings, the doe i killed came in with another doe, both appeared to be breading size, and the one i killed had a head shaped like an older deer, no milk bag either, so i figure she was a barren doe, i'm sure she'll eat good.
