I think the water bucket comment was in reference to how small of a guy he is. None the less the Patriot is a relatively heavy bow but then on the other hand the Bowtech Stalker is I think only around 2.7 lbs.????? Something like that so...... anyway you said it to each his own.

Oh boy, here we go again.

For the record, don't own a bowtech or a matthews, never shot either, never even picked up either, therefore I have no comment specifically!
Actually I bought a new bow this summer, and it is a lighter than what I am use to. I prefer a bow that is a little heavier, I find it makes it easier to hold steady at full draw.
Part of it could be too, that it depends on how the bow is balanced, especially if you are holding them out like you are shooting. I also think the shape of the handle can make a bow feel "heavy" or "light". JMO

well all i have to say is that if youre talking about bowtech you
obviously have never held one or seen them they are one of the best bows on the market they make the smallest bow also. i dont know what bow you were looking at but i can garuntee you that its not the heaviest bow.

Just an FYI- about 3 months ago I bought the Bowtech TomKat BECAUSE of the lighter weight. At 5'6" and 130 the lighter the bow the better. I thought the Patriot was a little heavy for me but compared to the Hoyt and Mathews I thought it(Patriot) was in the same ballpark as these others.

first of all my arms are bigger than a python, but not from these bows. second bowtech has a bow to fit almost any size man, woman, or child, and by the sound of your post you are small and need to roust people with the key board because you can't do it any other way.so grow up and get a life!and try shooting a kids bow if you can pick it up.
