Jeff, I ain't gonna mention names. We have talked to the lad and have him under our control, and our wings. He's learning. Who knows, maybe in another 30 years he'll know as much about compounds as I do. And even I have a lot to learn. It's hell to keep up with the changes every year.

Bry, talk to the store manager. There are usually group leaders and then dept. managers. Dept. managers head up a couple sections eg. camping and archery. Then there is always the store manager. You could talk to him in a tactful manner just mentioning that your experiences with the archery dept are a little less than stellar. And tell him why. Hey, some people just need a little input from the customers to improve their people skills. Then there are those that need a little reminder from the boss.

And if you you don't want to do it that way you can always check an email to our corporate headquarters or the store manager. Believe me, we have morning meetings and we hear all this stuff, both the good and the bad. Make your experiences known to someone who can do something about it.

Well, I'd definitely like to say something myself so they can hear it from a customer's point of view. I'm no bow tech, but I'd definitely put my own skills and knowledge against any guy in that store. They just need some knowledgeable staff to help some of the other guys out and teach Mr. Know-it-all that he doesn't know as much as he thinks. Next time I'm in Pittsburgh visiting I'll stop in and see how things are. If they haven't changed I'll talk to the manager.
