Any of the well made quality heads can be made to fly with your field points. Provided YOU do YOUR part.

This head will walk the walk Northforker,They're not the sharpest head on the market but with a little finishing they can be as sharp as any broadhead ,I really like the way the G5's fly with my setup and I'd definetly recommend them to anyone ,These head's will do the job when it come's to penetration and flyability and also are made very well ,the only thing that I could possibly say against these head's is they could come sharper in the package.

RE: G5 montec in relation to fieldpoints??
I shot these heads during a hog hunt in Texas. I had not shot a fixed broadhead in about 5 yrs and took some advise and tried the Montec G5 100gr. I was very impressed with there performance they did fly (almost) identically to my field points. I say almost because I only had to move my sights to the left about 2 inches (pretty good I thought). The place we hunted allowed only fixed broadheads and the G5's performed outstanding and I harvested 3 nice hogs with them. GOOD LUCK

I use a 600 grit paper and then I'll go to a 1200 grit on a very flat surface it only take's a few minutes per head and they're deadly sharp. But also Montec put's out a stone that I'm going to buy and give it a try as well .I think I'll try the stone and then again I'll go to the 1200 grit paper to finish it off ,I'm not sure that I'll need to go to the paper after the stone but I'll try it anyway's . The Montec stone isn't cheap I seen it at Bass Pro for $30.00 but it's biult for the perfect angle on the head.
