Why such a delay?

Just wanted to add that it is generally not the bow companies that are doing this.
It is nearly all of the accessory and broadhead manufacturers that don't update their web sites.

I think I can help with this post. I am in the web developer business so I think i know what may be going on. Most companies do not have thier websites developed or updated in-house. They have it contracted out. They are most likely at the mercy of the developers they hired. IF the developers are on other projects, they have to wait for them to get to thier site to get it done.

Muzzy,
That why management needs to be working with these people getting them the things they need ahead of time and communicating with the developers when they want the changes made. Then if they aren't made during the pre-determined time slot, you fire them and hire another group or someone to do it in-house. But you just don't just set back and let in happen. At least the companies that are properly managed don't.

Silent, I see your point. But have you taken a look at a lot of the manufacturers sites? Not what I would quality or high-tech by any means. I would be will to bet they are not spending much money developing these. A few that probably are include Mathews, Hoyt and I just noticed Summit is using extensive programing language to develop theirs. But then again, Summit is usually not updated until August.

I've been telling people here about tru glows new quiver and sight and to wait before they buy one and it is no where to be seen other than in our dealer books.
All of this new stuff that everyone wants to see and buy but they can't. I wonder how much money companies loose because of not having their web sites updated in a timely manner?
