I just recently noticed some additional noise when shooting my Mathews Q2. Previously it had been pretty quiet. I have string leeches and rubber cat whiskers on the string, as well as limbsavers and a doinker stabilizer. It sounds as if their is something loose but I have tightened every possibly bolt and screw and still can't find the problem. Could cables be making noise? What about the cable slide moving or sticking on the cable guard? COULD THE SIMS TEFLON CABLE SLIDE HELP TO REDUCE SHOT NOISE?

I would take it to the nearest Matthews dealer and let him solve it. Matthews stands behind there products. My dealer will solve it.
