Default Axis Aluminum?

Has anyone ever tried making a small diameter aluminum shaft with thicker walls? I know some of you are asking...why bother? Well lets just say that I like to shoot aluminums for practice. Can't hardly pull carbons out of a 3D target and almost have to use a 4WD to pull carbons from a cardboard press.

Since small diameter and thicker walls works for carbons...why wouldn't it work with aluminum? Thanks for your comments.

They do make smaller diameter, thicker walled aluminums.
