The tumor thing may actually have been the deers eye hanging out of it's socket from a injury. It may have then just fallen off. I had a dog that got hit by a car and it's eye popped out of the socket like that. Pretty gross.

i took a doe with my bow 2 years ago and it had a similar growth on its jaw. I aint dead yet!!
