Default Missouri Breaks Elk

Did anybody bowhunt the breaks this past season? If so, I'd love to hear about it. I hear that place is infested with bull elk..........and hunters too. Still, I'd like to give it a shot one of these days.

Default RE: Missouri Breaks Elk

In case it helps you - I have not done it, but my good friend who frequents the hunt and does well every year (for the past five) got nothing this year, big surprise to me. Said nobody in his four man party did.

Doesn't make it a bad hunt, just reminds us it is hunting, not getting.

Based only on stories from about five friends and friends of theirs, sounds like the breaks was quite a bit below average this year.

I'm looking forward to the same hunt myself.
