Boy, you guys are more hardcore than myself. I may go out next week if the weather is 20 degrees or higher (w/out the 40 mph wind gusts we've been having)...otherwise, my butt will be sitting in front of the TV drinking coffee or beer.

Good luck to ya!!

hunter25... awww man! I wouldn't miss it out there for the world! I love it! Wind and all... althought the wind has been INSANE around here, hasn't it? I was out in it yesterday evening... CRAZY. My friend (who has NOT purchased winter gear yet), had to get out of his tree stand he got so bad.

I could not have been more pleased with my heavy duty setup! I was actually just barely colder than comfortable. It was awesome.

Wind chill this morning was 5 degrees... I thought that was the type of weather that your not supposed to have skin exposed to. Was I woosing out? Or is that a valid concern at that temperature??

little tip for you. Buy a pair of clear safety glasses. They will help keep the wind out of your eyes. Make sure you have some thing like a scarf under your glasses to keep from fogging them up. I love to hunt in the cold and snow. Great big daddy's start movin for food. gotta love that.

Only time they really move after the wild ass gun season here
