If you never tried it do it. I found out that in the dark if you take a flashlight and shine a narrow beam of light on the target right on the kill spot improves my accuracy. In the dark with only that spot that you can see makes you concentrate better. Try it,Like to hear what you think. It improve my shooting 100%

This proves the theory of shoot small miss small. The spot is the only thing that you are looking at so naturally you will focus on the spot. You can do the same in the daylight by concentrating on one spot on the animal that you are shooting. I have shot outside in the dark when there was no other way check the sights on my bow when a problem was encountered, and I was heading out the next day. It kept me from shooting down the hallway in the house. ( That went over like a fart in church) It sure does make it easy to pick the spot.

Bob.
I do that every time I go hog hunting as the hogs on my lease are nocturnal.
Even have a flash lite set up as my stabilizer I call it my "oinker"
here is a pic.
The flash lite has a red lens so all you see is the red beam.
