I was hunting last night and a buck came in on my right (I shoot right handed). I had to stand up and turn towards that side. When I pulled back just as he was stepping into my window of opportunity my elbow got stuck in the safety belt. I kinda panicked and rushed the shot with very bad form and missed the buck. So put those belts up high so you don't make the same mistake!

My first night out this year I got up in my stand, put my belt on, and sat down. About an hour later I stood up for a stretch and decided to check my shooting lanes and draw my bow back. I ran into the same problem you just mentioned and quickly made the necessary adjustments to correct it. Fortunately for me I didn't have it effect my hunt, but it very well could have.

I learned this the hard way also!!!!!!!!!!
