I switched to 125 grain heads this season, so I needed some new points. I was having trouble removing my old points from my targets, so I bought the kind that are supposed to be easier to pull out. The problem is, these thinks are super sharp, and they penetrate a good bit farther than my old points, and at times all the way to the fletching. I was thinking of buying a grinding wheel of some sort for my drill to blunt the tips. Has anyone done this? Will I lose enough weight to make a difference? If so, can I just add some tiny washers(I have some already, but do not remember why) to make up the weight? Thanks for any help.

These ideas you already probably know:
Just refletch the arrows later after numerous shots.
Beef up the target blocks.
Use a larger washer to stop penetration.
Just my thoughts
i like the washers you came up with myself
