Default field points /broadheads

here' s one ,my buddy has an old pro line ,i think it' s called a condor ,anyway ,the bow shoots field tips fine but with a muzzy 4 blade with the practice blades installed it misses the mark by a mile, i shot the same head outta my bow and it shoots fine , could the bow be out of tune ? or should he try another broadhead? i know i' m leaving alot of important info out but i don' t have it right now ,i just think the bow needs to be tuned different to shoot broadheads. am i right or wrong ?

I would try lighting up grain of the broad head and give that a shot and maybe even try a 3 blade instead of a 4 blade.

Give those a shot should make aa difference.

xi, the proline just needs tuned. It is relatively easy to get field points to group, but for fixed blade broadheads the bow has to be in tune.

As long as the arrow/tip combo is spined correctly for the bows current setup, a little tune job will take care of it.

xibowhunter, I forgot to add to my last post.....I am not very far from you, if your buddy cannot find someone to help him get his bow tuned up let me know. I have worked on so many peoples bows to this point, another couple hundred won`t kill me!

thanks big country ,thats great of you to offer, however when i told to to go get it tuned ,he said he didn' t want to sink any more money into the pos because he' s going to buy a new one next year , so he' s just gonna fart with the sight pin till he gets it on target ,some people are just stubborn! i' ll pass the info along and let you know though ,once again thanks!
