Default Painting arrows???

I got several arrows that I need to get refletched and was thinking about painting the last seven or eight inches of the arrow white. Will regular old white latex paint or spray paint work or would I be better off having wraps put on? I only want to try it on 2 or 3 arrows so I really don't want to buy a whole pack of a dozen wraps. What would the best solution be?

Your refering to "cresting" your arrows. When it comes to cresting, you can be creative. Sure spray paint may be your simple solution however it may not last depending on the rest you have. You may also have to treat the arrows prior to painting. You didn't mention carbon or aluminum. Again, be creative but be sure the scent will be gone when you enter the woods.

Put the wraps on yourself. They are a piece of cake.

Shadow that looks like a pretty hard helical along with Quick Spins. Those thing should spin like they were shot out of a rifle.

You may want to consider trying a flourescent yellow, I have found that it shows up better in low light than white.

i would never paint my arrows. painting your arrows will add weight wich will slow down your arrow speed. also Even though the paint isnt major in the weight it will also off balance your arrow. you guys might think i am crasy but every FPS counts i have my old hoyt fast flight shooting 280 fps.

what do you guys think

motown, your not crazy but possible misinformed. The fps loss due to a slight change in weight on an arrow is unnoticable, especially if your shooting around 280....the difference in fps wouldn't even change your pins......you couldn't shoot the difference....no one could.
