I could buy a used bow for $75.00, put another $75.00 into refurbishing it, buy the arrows, broadheads, and necessary bowhunting accessories for another $100.00, go into the field with someone using a $1000.00+ rig, and never have the first thought that the person with the costly rig has an edge on me. You don't need a Corvette to drive to the neighborhood grocery store....a few times out of a year.

true, you don't need a corvete. But it sure handles better and feels better and looks better than a cavalier. Both will get you where you want to go. It is all a matter of what you want. If you want the latest technology and the big names you are gonna pay for it

I, for one, must agree. Bow prices have skyrocketed in recent years especially on the top of the line models. I would definitely like to see about $200 knocked off of some of those high end models.

But, as someone else stated it is not just bowhunting. I picked up a Cabelas Waterfowl catalog from the bathroom pile yesterday and leafed through it. When four plastic decoy shells cost $100 and a piece of fabric attached to some spring steel goes for $400 then you know somebody is making a killing with those prices.

Buy one used. Also, if you are using it for hunting it doesn't have to be high priced. The bow you shoot will just have to be accurate when you shoot it. A $200 bow will kill a deer the same way a $1000 bow will.

Yeah!! I couldn't agree more!! Buy used!!! In fact did I mention I am selling my High Country, or is this the wrong forum

High Country Power Force X1 with all the extras
12+ alluminum arrows
rest
stabilizer
sight
29" draw

I guess I am now in big trouble

email me, I was asking 300 and dropped it to 250
I need to take pictures and put it on eBay. It is sitting on consignment at the proshop.
