Hey tree hunter I have a Mathews SQ2 and have my sights set at 20,30,40,50.But I do go out and shoot at these ranges 12 times each, 5 times a week and still not ready for a 50 yard shot at a deer yet.

if you are only hunting, then it depends on your skill level.

I have personally never seen the need for a four pin sight when hunting but then again I hunt in relatively tight quarters where shots are generally under 30 yards...most under 20. I use a sight with three pins just in case I am hunting a field edge and may have the opportunity to get a solid 40 yard shot. Good luck with whatever you choose.
