Based on the marks and more wrinkles on your cock vane I still think you are getting fletching contact with your rest or maybe even your shelf.

Does anyone know? I only have about 20 shots with this quickspin, and they are already wrinkling. Thats just disappointing they shoot great but dont seem very durable.

That is how the fletching on my Easton Axis arrows look. I have the old style wisker bisket rest. I will be switching from the old wisker bisket to the new b2 rest & see if that helps?

The heat of friction passing through your target warped the vane.

The white colored vane has alot of dye used to make it white compared to the other colors. The added dye content weakend the white vane more than the other vanes and that is why it was the first to ripple.

Good luck hunting! >>>------------>

Thanks Arroman,

Thats a good explanation. Seems like it was starting to ripple before I ever passed it through a target. So I guess reguardless I am having some sort of contact somewhere.

Can I assume that anytime a fletching comes in contact with anything its on it way to being wrinkled? This is why I quit using a WB

Switch to a drop away and forget all about rest contact. Best thing I ever did. Every arrow I have ever owned looked like that through a TM style rest until I got an MZE.

LOL... ding ding ding... LOL. Good grief, NOW THAT'S FUNNY!

Seriously though, you have a pair of troubles from what the pic shows. 1. Contact at some point, likely on the rest... somewhere close at hand. 2. Ripping ANY arrow fletched with vanes though a 3D target is gonna warp 'em up. Umm, kinda like the one you have there in the pic.

Bear? Your arrows looked like that just from coming off the rest? Wow, either your center shot wuz 3 feet out or you were shooting the arrows backwards!

Rybohunter, "ding ding ding"... LOL, man I gotta go git a tissue. [8D]
