Default Any luck using Ground Binds???

Has anyone had any luck using ground blinds? What kind of situations would a ground blind be prefferable? I'm sure you miss quite a bit as far as not having a good vantage point but some of the best spots I find have no decent trees near to hang a stand.

Thanks for any help.

I can't say for hunting big game, but I have hunted turkeys out of a double bull and it was truly amazing. We did have a couple of doe whitetails walk by inside of 20 yards and they were not even close to distrubed. Ground blinds would be prefferable in situations like you refer to where there are no good trees. Maybe even places where you know a buck is going through super heavy cover and you wouldn't be able to shoot through it. I know there are several guys on this board that would rather hunt from the ground than a treestand anyday. Get a Double Bull video and that may be more help. Good luck
