My tip would be first to check your local game laws to be sure you are far enough from your neighbors house when hunting. I imagine you are so this should be fine. If this is the case and it is legal to hunt there then hunt wherever you want. Chances are if a deer runs onto a neighbors property you have full permission to track it and recover it. At least that's the way it is here in Pa. Once again I would check your game laws to be certain, but you shouldn't have any problems.

I've never hunted a piece that small but my most productive stand is in a 3 acre parcel. It's very similar to the one you describe, A thick creek bottom right in the middle of suburbia.
I hunt a couple of funnels, one where they cross the brook, and the other where they parallel the creek to a point of woods that crossed the neighbors field. I've never had one make it to the neighbors property but I'm sure it would cause an uproar. Most important is to ensure you're legal where you're shooting from. If you cause a stir and a co shows up he'll likely ask where you were when you shot. As long as your legal go for it. It may well be the most productive stand you hang this year.

Then it sounds like there is nothing to worry about. Just set up your stand in the funnell on a path leading to the fields and wait. If you feel like you need to, just talk to your neighbors and let them know you will be hunting on your land and that if a deer should run onto their land then you will have to trail it. If you don't think they will understand then just hunt. Like I said, you should have full permission to retrieve a wounded game animal onto any property and if the property owner disagrees then call the game commission and they should take you to the kill.

Well one fields on the north and the other is on the south so they got to go through there, around these parts you don't see many deer out in fields..

Yeah it's OK here to hunt on one acre of land.

I have a place like yours lots are 1-3 acers with a line of trees and a creek ,talked to the neibors 2 said go for it 1 said hunt my yard too ,the deer are eating all my garden the last just ask if I could try to keep it out of the pool .Never know till you ask.

LOL!!! I think I would try to convince her before hand that the deer must be harvested, as it is a rare pastry eating whitetail that needs culled in order to keep her apple pies on the window ledge safe. Who knows, maybe she'll give you a slice instead of having to sneak over at dusk to snatch one like last time.
