i have always used aluminum arrows, i now shoot 2314 xx78's
i am ready to buy new arrows, maybe carbon, ive had some people tell me if im happy with the aluminum then dont change, but i know the carbon will definately give me a flatter shot... then people tell me they are harder to fletch..(to get the fletching to stick properly) i guess what im asking is what do you think about this, and if you are a big carbon shooter what do you use as far as glue, cleaner etc.. to fletch your arrows?
what are some pro's and cons?
any info would be great...
thanks

well obviously with carbons they are flatter shooting and definatly more durable because the all carbon arrows cannot bend. as for fletching i use steel force's beyond bond and their excellerator. they also have their own cleaner and their glue works almost immediatly. I love carbons and will never shoot aluminums again.

Wilk,
I was extemely reluctant to switch from aluminum to carbon. I purchased a new bow recently and decided to make the switch. The change in unbelieveable. I should have switched a long time ago. I am now shooting 0-30 yards w/ one pin. Unbelieveable speed. They are really tough.
I purchased a dozen Beman ICS 400 Camo Hunters. Nice arrows. Trust me on this... It is worth switching.

wilk, Easton makes the FAT shaft. Vapor has their 23 Speed. Carbon Express has a Line Jammer. Check out the various websites for different companies. All these arrows mentioned are about 23/64 diameter. So yes, there are large diamter carbons.

The one thing missed is they are flatter shooting if you go a lighter wieght
if you like everything about the 2314 a carbon of the same weight well enhance what you already have... and wouldn't have to go through much re tuning....
