Default Hunting in Pennsylvania for non-residents???

Just wondering if it would even be worth it for me to bring my bow to PA if I go there during hunting season? I live & hunt in Montana. My wife & I might fly over to PA this fall? Can a non-resident find a place to hunt north of Pittsburgh?
I would be willing to trade a Montana- deer, antelope or elk hunt for a PA deer hunt.

If you wouldn't mind about a 4 1/2 hour drive to NY, I could set you up.

There are lots of places to hunt north of pittsburgh. Pittsburgh itself is a great area to hunt - but unless someone can help you out it takes a while to find some open land around the city/county limits. Once you get about 45min north of the city it really opens up. I normally travel to Pittsburgh 3 or 4 times a year to hunt.

Here is another website/message board that is full of PA guys - you may be able to find someone who can help you out.

www.huntingpa.com

You may also want to try the Pennsylvania forum on www.Bowsite.com for specific areas above Pittsburgh.

BobCo19-65, I am pushing my luck as it is. I need to keep this hunt close to Pittsburgh. Thanks for the offer.

OK... that's the ticket. We'll all meet up at Jasons and go bowhunting.

No problem Wolf, and if you get any closer to NY let me know. It is very good to see people getting hooked up and receiving help when asked.

Hats off to the people who are helping you out!!!
