Blood circulation should remain the same in both ears, regardless of the amount of ticks present. I will be the first to say that I have seen weirder things happen, and it very well could be ticks - as fibromas are usually darker (scab-like) in color, but I have also seen fibromas that are flesh-colored as well. Looks like the only way to really tell is to get a close-up, or wait 'till she walks under the stand opening day

BTW - excellent pictures for a "home-brew" camera. How much did it cost to set one of these things up? Just wondering if it's cost efficient to set up about three or four, or to take my chances with the Stealth-Cams.

hey roseaukaine, a good home brew will run you about 250.00. thats with a sony p32 camera in it. no comparison in quality and quantity of picts to the stealth cam IMO.

I'm impressed by the quality of the homebrew pics. The quote in the second and third pics should be "curiosity killed the deer"
I'm curious about the longevity of a homebrew cam as well as cold weather opperation. Has anyone who has a homebrew cam used it durring the winter months? If so how did it fare as far as pic quality & battery life?

adams, most digital camera's lcd whether a homebrew or commericial will not tolerate temps below freezing for more than a day or so. they will tend to crack. as far as longevity, well anything mechanical will break eventually but the great thing about the homebrew is you built it, so you will know how to fix most things. if the mother board goes out well the guys that sell them stand behind em and will go way out of there way to help you fix it. I had one that after building the unit, I shower tested it for water tightness. well being my first camera I didn't remove the mother board and lets say my box wasn't water tight yet. called hags who sold me the board and he went out of his way to fix it and didn't charge me a thang. other than my stupid error I personally haven't had any problems.

After seeing all them great pics from the home made digitals I want to build a one now and I'm not sure which board to buy. I just saw this post on Jesse's about a new smaller board from Pixcontroller. Do you guys think it's a good deal or too much? Which board is the easiest to do for a first time digital? thanks
