Default bow arm(HOW TO RELAX IT)

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW THEY RELAX THIER BOW SHOUDER

does any one have any suggestions on how to completely relax there bow shoulder at full draw to help keep your bow steadier and not seem to get as tired so early.im just to tense in my upper shoulder.i drop my shoulder and it still occurs.does it have anything to do with my draw length?which is more likely to cause it (to short or to long). thanks for all suggestions!

I would have my draw length checked but for me the more I exercise and practice the easier it is to hold my draw steady for longer periods if necessary. JMO!

Be sure there is some bend in your elbow and your arm is not straight. Relax your grip on the bow. Your shoulder will still get tired holding the bow out, that is normal. Do some excercises to strengthen those muscles. Hold some weights out in front of you that are heavier than your bow.
However, all this is easier said than done.

Your not really in a relaxed mode when holding ,just remember to bend your elbow and have a loose grip . Exercises are good .

I have problems with my arms and shoulders getting tired too. I am double jointed in my elbows and that makes bow hunting alot more difficult for me. I just try too exercise a little more before bow season get underway and get the mucles in my arms and shoulders stronger.

Or go get you a lighter bow, ha, ha, ha. j/k

i have been shooting most of the year--come to find out that i am left eye dominant but have been shooting right handed for years. it was suggested that may be why.i know at times i take to long to get the pin on target focusing on trying to get that surprise release.i use a little bitty goose and have ti set just about as light as i can get it to keep the caliper head closed enough to pull it back.now if i am not getting a surprise release with out knowing to push my back musles together do you think i need to shorten my draw to accomplish it better.i mean most of the time i shoot well but know i can do better.i know a trigger release isnt the best way to go to get a surprise release.is there a trick to it to get it to work better. i thought about shortening my release about a 1/4 in to see if it would get better or maybe just adj. the release and making it shorter.how many really get that surprise release with a hunting release if they are not using a back tension type.
