Be sure there is some bend in your elbow and your arm is not straight. Relax your grip on the bow. Your shoulder will still get tired holding the bow out, that is normal. Do some excercises to strengthen those muscles. Hold some weights out in front of you that are heavier than your bow.
However, all this is easier said than done.
