Default Scent Eliminating Spray Residue

I noticed when I took my bow out that it had a white powder residue on it. The only thing I can think of is that it is left over from the scent eliminating spray I spray on it before each hunt. Has anyone else had this happen, and is there anyway to prevent it?

Yep, it happens. It seems to wipe off pretty easily though.

that's what's left over after the water evaporates... the baking soda is left behind.

I used the H.S. Scent-a-way spray with and without the "real earth" solution and had the powdery residue left over. Didnt do anything to the bow so i wasnt worried.

just use baking soda disolved into water.. and you'll have the same thing. works very well and is easy on the pocket book.

Be careful where you spray yourself down. My bro-in-law sprayed himself down while standing at his open door to his K-5 Blazer. Some got on the dash and ate away the chrome-looking overlay on the dash. It is tough to get off of black trim pieces as well.
