I can accept the criticism if you guys can but everyone of you guys that speed are criminals. It's the same thing. If you break the law you're a criminal. You may not look at yourself as a criminal but you are infact a criminal. You may not have meant to speed or realized that you were speeding but you broke the law and that makes you a criminal

Now how many of you have never sped? Many of you may not feel that the term criminal applies to you "the occaisional speeder". You may feel the term is to harsh to describe a person who occaisionally "bends" the law by accident. Just like i feel the term "poacher" doesn't apply to me for accidentallyhunting without a plug. However, if you think I am a poacher but you are not a criminal then you have two sets of standards that don't see eye to eye with each other. I have heard police officers say that they can follow ANYONE for two blocks and stop them for some sort of traffic violoation. You may not have intended to break the law but you did. So who's ready to admit they are a criminal?

I was going to bring up the same point earlier! I'm with ya all they way silent.

A buddy of mine went on a guided bear hunt. The guide took him out of his zone and he didn't Know it. He shot a bear and one of the other guys that was with worked for the DNR later this guy realized the bear was shot in the wrong zone so he turned it in. My buddy lost the bear but didn't get a fine and it's not on his record. I don't think the guide got anything out of this.

Speeding is a misdemeanor. Poaching is a felony if I am not mistaken. There is a big difference between a misdemeanor and a Felony. I don't think speeding makes one a criminal. If so, everyone who has ever driven is a criminal.

I usually take a pistol with me when bow hunting and asked a game warden if he would fine someone if he found them to have a pistol on them in bow season. He said each warden may handle the situation differently but for him, and a lot of other wardens he knew, most likely he would not fine someone if it appeared they had the pistol only for protection (as opposed to carrying a .44 with a scope on it). So while it may be the law, I will continue to carry a pistol for security/safety reasons and feel confident I most likely will never have to use it and if so it will be a very legitimate reason to. I would never use it to take an animal in bow season. I would be prepared to get a fine if a warden felt it absolute necessary but most wardens are sensible people and hunters themselves. I do not consider myself a poacher although I may not be following a regulation to the letter.

Is If accidentally not plugging your gun, which is a misdemeanor, makes you a poacher (which is a subjective term but I would love for you to show me where poaching is a felony) then speeding which is also a misdemeanor makes you a criminal.
