Speeding is a misdemeanor. Poaching is a felony if I am not mistaken. There is a big difference between a misdemeanor and a Felony. I don't think speeding makes one a criminal. If so, everyone who has ever driven is a criminal.
If accidentally not plugging your gun, which is a misdemeanor, makes you a poacher (which is a subjective term but I would love for you to show me where poaching is a felony) then speeding which is also a misdemeanor makes you a criminal.
