If you break the law you're a criminal. You may not look at yourself as a criminal but you are infact a criminal. You may not have meant to speed or realized that you were speeding but you broke the law and that makes you a criminal
Speeding is a misdemeanor. Poaching is a felony if I am not mistaken. There is a big difference between a misdemeanor and a Felony. I don't think speeding makes one a criminal. If so, everyone who has ever driven is a criminal.
