What has been the most productive area(s) you've hunted?

Inside corner/funnel. It's good every year but exceptionally good in years when the field is planted in corn.

an over looked thicket less than 75 yds from the camp. The first morning I hunted it I saw 4 shooter bucks and killed a nice 120" 8 pt. I've seen several other nice bucks and many does since then.

I've shot more and seen more deer my three acre lot the is split by a thick creek bottom.

The area I hunt is nothing but small hills and valleys. The tops of the hills are flat and usually planted with a variety of crops. The hillsides are either open hardwoods or thickets normally with a stream at the bottom. I have my best luck normally at the bottom of the valleys as they open up on the streams. The western corner of the valley seems to be the most productive.

The best spot I have hunted over the years is a flat on the side of a mountain. It's about 100yds wide, and has a fence line running through it. Below the flat is a steep gully, so the deer stay above it. It's an incredible funnel. We've probably killed 50 deer from that spot over the last 15 years, (bow and gun) and a few of those have been wall hangers. I saw the biggest deer of my life in that spot...didn't get a shot at him though It is a great spot to get a doe or a young buck...but not the best spot to get a mature buck, though we sometimes catch one coming through during the rut.

200 yards behind the landowners farmhouse lies a narrow wooded area that stretches from the highway back into his pasture. South of his pasture is a huge woods owned by another landowner. The deer travel along the creek, through the pasture and cross the highway to large crop fields. The narrow wooded area behind his home been very productive through the years, as it serves as a nice funnel.

Low saddles close to beds on the backside covered in timber on a ridgeline that lead to clearcuts on southern slopes of a mountain. 2nd, inside corners back in the cover of the back of clearcuts or farm fields. 3rd funnels.
