High Country TSS
I just saw an ad in Peterson's Bowhunting Mag for High Country. They are claiming this Total Shooting System bow will throw an arrow at 350 FPS, IBO rating. Anyone know anything about this? Anyone own one?

It is a gimmic[:'(]
They are advertising shooting 5 grains per inch of the arrow
not 5 grains per pound as the IBO standard.
example.
If you have a bow set at 70 pounds a 30 inch draw length and a 350 grain arrow you are at IBO testing specs.
You need 5 grains per pound of draw weight to comply to IBO standards.
HC is advertisng shooting arrows at 5 grains per inch.
That would make their arrows weight approx. 260 grains with insert, nock, fletching and those little broadheads and field tips they are advertising.
So they are testing at 70 pounds 30 inch draw with those super light 260 grain arrows to get those 350FPS numbers.
