Default P&Y 30" Rule

Pope and Young has a rule stating a bow cannot be under 30" to qualify a deer. Is that AtoA or overall length?

Good question and I was actually just thinking about this issue earlier today.

Who wants to go find the actual wording of the rule in the Pope and Yound rulebook.

I would be willing to bet that it is the overall length of the bow which would make bows like the Bowtech Tech29 legal in terms of qualifying an animal for the Pope and Young record book.

I just went to the P&Y web site and looked up the rule it simply states: "that no bow shall be shorter than 30 inches" I would take that to mean overall length and not just compounds.

I've looked at it before and the rule does not specify as to whether it's axle to axle length or overall length. The rule is pitifully worded.
