If this stands out so much in these pics then why are all these people reporting the so called "look through" while deer hunting?

Agreed.

Let me tell you guys, this stuff works!!! I'm not sure how much better it works than any other camo, but I had some very interesting results this year wearing my suit. I do however think that ASAT can me out of its element, ie hunting against very green or dark backgrounds tends to make it stand out, but from a tree stand once the leaves have turned, it can't be beat.

Let me relate a few of my experiences from this season:

Opening day, hunting a persimmon tree. I'm about 15ft off the ground in a big oak with no cover in front or behind, just the tree. I have a 3 1/2 8pt feeding on persimmons at less than 15 yds for over 20 minutes!!! He stares me down several times, but never spooks as he looked right through me.

A few weeks later, hunting persimmons again, the only tree around is a small hackberry that I can only climb out 8 ft. I really wanted to hunt this persimmon tree, so I went with it. I had a spike and a doe pass by me at about 4 steps from my tree. Remember, I am only 8ft off the ground. These deer stare me down hard, and they look right through me and few minutes later I killed the doe.

Late season, I'm climbing down around 10am. I grab my gear and hit a little clearing, I stop to grab my water from my pack when I hear a deer coming. Out steps a nice little 8pt, not 12 yds away. He stares at me just standing in the wide open, looks through me and goes about his business.

This stuff works folks!!! It is not a cure all, but it definitely works.

So it won't work that well in a stand of pines since they are green and it is dark inside the stand of them?

Well, I can tell you that my son couldn't find me in a group of trees tonight with my ASAT on. I told him on the radio EXACTLY where I was and he walked within 20 feet of me and couldn't see me. I had to whistle at him 3 times and he just kept looking right past me. It shocked him and me that we were that close and he just couldn't focus in on me. Dave can tell you the kid has good eyes and spots deer all the time.

I just hope that it fools the eyes of the deer as well.

This past weekend I had the pleasure to hang out with Chuck and Carl from ASAT at the 3D festival around Lancaster PA. Chuck had hung a jacket from an evergreen tree as a test. When people came to the booth to check out his product he would ask them to look for the ASAT camo in the trees. I just sat back and laughed at the amount of people who could not find it. Guys and gals were coming from the range and walking right by it. I can't say enough about what a great product it is. It has become the only camo that I will wear. Myself and mlaubner will be doing some tests in the near future and will post are results.

It's really good to see all the excitement generated by our product, both good and bad. We know we'll never sell all hunters on ASAT® because of many reasons, but we will keep trying! I do many sportsman's shows throughout the year and meet all kinds of hunters, and it never fails to amaze me that many, what I consider better-than-average hunters, can just walk on by our booth and never give ASAT® a glance. It's almost like they're afraid to look. They'll spend literally thousands on their equipment and yet will wear what looks good in the magazines, as a result, falling prey to savvy marketing techniques and totally disregarding the scientifically sound basis for our camouflage and ignoring test photos by independent photographers, knowing their camo just doesn't do what ASAT® does.
Well anyway, we could argue forever about who's camo works best, I just wanted to say thanks for considering ASAT®, and if you ever have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me for whatever help I can be. Thanks for your time...
